The cash flow impact of a recent cyberattack on a healthcare claims processor is illustrated by changes in the net cash value of weekly claims filed by more than 1,850 hospitals and 250,000 physicians that submit data to Kodiak Solutions' Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) software.
The baseline is the average net cash value of weekly claims for the period Jan. 1-Feb. 17, 2024.
The total estimated cash flow impact for the hospitals reporting data to Kodiak RCA through March 9 is $6.3 billion in payments that are delayed.
