Sunset World Group Continues Sea Turtle Protection Program and Publishes 2021 Results
Of the seven sea turtle species in the world, six nest on Mexican beaches and four nest in Quintana Roo: the green turtle (Chelonia mydas), the loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta), the leatherback turtle (Dermochelys Coriacea) and the hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata).
