DAYTON, Ohio, Jan. 17, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Four inspirational leaders have accepted appointments as senior fellows, the Charles F. Kettering Foundation announced today. The new fellows are William Barber II, Neal Katyal, Kelley Robinson and Alexander Vindman, They join 9 senior fellows from diverse backgrounds and political views appointed since November to strengthen the Foundation's focus on encouraging civic participation and fighting the rise of authoritarianism and threats to democracy in the US and around the globe. TORONTO, Jan. 11, 2022 /CNW/ - The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) today announced that Mujahid Ali Syed and Sanjiv Katyal have been charged with fraud and other offences under the Securities Act.

  • Mr. Syed's charges include fraud, contrary to s. 126.1(1)(b) of the Securities Act, trading without registration, contrary to s. 25(1), and distributing securities without a prospectus, contrary to s. 53(1).
  • Mr. Katyal was also charged with fraud and trading without registration, as well as advising in securities without registration, contrary to s. 25(3) of the Securities Act.
  • The OSC acknowledges the collaborative assistance of the Peel Regional Police Fraud Bureau to help bring this investigation to a successful conclusion.

    Consumer Control Dashboard Designs FDXs updated User Experience Guidelines 2.0 now include design guidelines for the implementation of consumer dashboards at data providers (i.e., financial institutions), data recipients (i.e., fintech apps) and data access platforms (i.e., financial data aggregators) so that consumers will be empowered with ongoing transparency and control of their financial data sharing activity.
  • Reciprocal Two-Way Data Sharing between Data Providers & Third Party Fintechs Financial data sharing has traditionally been understood as a one-way street where users share their own financial data from a data provider like a bank or brokerage firm with a third-party data recipient like a fintech application or service, often through a data access platform.
