An unencrypted report stored on one of the compromised accounts contained the sensitive personal information of all current Altice employees and of potentially all former employees. Some customers’ personal information was compromised as well. Personal information that may have been accessed included names, employment information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and some drivers’ license numbers. Altice began notifying affected individuals in February 2020. The personal information compromised in this data breach has already exposed many employees, former employees and consumers to identity theft and other forms of fraud.
