Construction of the 1,500-ft floodwall at Jersey City Medical Center included many complexities, including minimizing traffic flow disruptions in the urban environment as well as ensuring hospital operations were not disrupted. - The 24/7 trauma center remained opened throughout the duration of the project thanks to a phased construction approach.
