AFA Appoints New President & CEO

ARLINGTON, Va., March 22, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Retired Lt. Gen. Burt Field has been appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of the Air & Space Forces Association, the nation's foremost advocate for air and space power as the foundation of U.S. national defense.

A Celebration of Craft will honor Leslie Ann Jones, a seven-time GRAMMY winner and the first woman Chair of the Recording Academy’s Board of Trustees (1999-2001), who has spent over 40 years in the industry as a recording and mixing engineer and record producer.

The Recording Academy® has added three new Categories for the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards® including Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording.

  • The Recording Academy® has added three new Categories for the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards® including Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording.
  • Additionally, the existing Categories of Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical and Songwriter Of The Year, Non-Classical will be moved to the General Field, allowing all GRAMMY® voters to vote in these important, non-genre-specific Categories.
