MINNEAPOLIS, July 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sun Country Airlines (NASDAQ: SNCY) announced today that it has been selected by the U.S. Department of Transportation to provide Essential Air Service (EAS) for Chippewa Valley Regional Airport (EAU) in Eau Claire, WI, beginning in December 2022.

- The Chippewa Valley Regional Airport approached Sun Country about providing the service last spring when SkyWest Airlines/United Express filed a notice that it intended to terminate EAS service at Chippewa Valley.
