14 Novant Health Medical Centers Highlighted in 2018 Healthcare Equality Index

Novant Health is proud to announce that 14 of its acute care facilities have been recognized as “Leaders in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, the educational arm of the country’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization.

- Novant Health is one of only eight health care systems nationwide that had 10 or more facilities receive the recognition this year.
- Novant Health UVA Health System medical centers were two of the three facilities recognized in Virginia.
