Alector Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Jan. 27, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alector, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALEC), a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering immuno-neurology, today announced it intends to offer and sell, subject to market and other conditions, 5,095,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. In addition, Alector expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 764,250 additional shares of Alector’s common stock. All of the shares in the proposed offering will be sold by Alector.
