Cypress Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (NASDAQ: CY) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a conditional quarterly cash distribution of $0.11 per share payable to holders of record of the Company’s common stock at the close of business on December 26, 2019. This dividend is expected to be paid on January 16, 2020.

The dividend will not be paid if the closing of the acquisition of Cypress by Infineon Technologies AG (“Infineon”) under the previously announced Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated June 3, 2019, occurs prior to the close of business on December 26, 2019 such that Cypress is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infineon at that time.
