Honey Solutions Achieves Highest Score on BRC Food Safety Certification

BAYTOWN, Texas, April 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Honey Solutions (Honey Holding I), one of the oldest and largest processors of 100% pure honey to America's largest bakers and food processors, announced today its 2019-20 certification to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Version 8 global food safety standard with a grade of AA, the highest grade possible.  Honey Solutions has been awarded BRC's top certification grade for each of the last six years.

BRC Version 8 places emphasis on effective traceability systems and traceability thorough out the supply chain to last packer or grower where ingredients were purchased.  In addition, Version 8 places emphasis on development of a broader food safety culture and to ensure global applicability with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
