Resnick Investment Advisors to Join Forces with GYL Financial Synergies

WEST HARTFORD, Conn., Jan. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Resnick Investment Advisors ('Resnick'), a wealth management firm based in Westport, Connecticut has agreed to join forces with GYL Financial Synergies ('GYL'), an independent registered investment advisory firm based in West Hartford, Connecticut. The combined firm will rebrand its private client business as GYL Resnick and remain as GYL Financial Synergies for its institutional business. The transaction was effective January 1, 2019.

GYL was established as an independent registered investment advisory firm in August 2016 through Focus Independence, a program designed to help advisory teams successfully launch their independent wealth management businesses. The team is led by Gerald B. Goldberg, Jonathan S. Yolles, Michael J. Lepore and Claire F. McDonald, who worked together for over 15 years at predecessor firms. Since becoming an independent firm, GYL has grown significantly and continues to invest in top-level talent.

Resnick, founded in 1990 by financial advisor Marty Resnick, has established a strong relationship with the local community. The firm has been serving generations of clients in the decades since its inception. This merger, which is part of a long-term succession plan, ensures Resnick's clients will be well served for years to come.
