The annual Land Use and Planning Conference on Friday, January 21, 2022, is a leading source of information on California land use legislation, case law, and emerging issues that frame a range of property development practices in the nation's most populous state.

Now in its 36th year, the UCLA Extension conference provides decision-makers, public officials, attorneys, planners, developers, and others, with a big-picture view of current land use law and planning practices, with experts offering succinct and provocative updates on core state and federal case law and legislation.

At this year's conference are two of California's influential business advocates, Lucy Dunn, President and CEO of the Orange County Business Council, and Jim Wunderman, President and CEO of the Bay Area Council. Their keynote discussion presents insights into the top issues impacting the Golden State and perspectives on statewide policy issues impacting every sector of the world's sixth-largest economy.
