Keeping Up With Conversational Design

Members of the Botsociety community have much to look forward to with the newly announced Design the Future video series. Botsociety invites its community and the public to watch and gain insight from the stories shared among some of the video series' special guests, including Cathy Pearl, Head of Conversation Design Outreach at Google, John Keefe of Quartz' Bot Studio and Priya Ganapati, Executive Product Director of Vox Media. Viewers can expect to enjoy insight from the series' first season, including topics on the evolution of conversational design, how voice assistants contribute to inclusive design and how brands can start to explore new mediums.

The series will feature Cathy Pearl, Google's Head of Conversational Design.

Cathy Pearl is Head of Conversation Design Outreach at Google, and the author of the O'Reilly book, "Designing Voice User Interfaces".  She's been designing and creating Voice User Interfaces (VUIs) for nearly 20 years and is passionate about helping everyone make the best conversational experiences possible.

"One of the main things I do as Head of Outreach for Conversation Design at Google is really try to go out there in the world and bring awareness about what we do and why it's important," said Cathy Pearl.
