Key Points:
  • , April 15, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Titan Lithium Inc., (OTC Markets: CDSG) (the “Company” or “CDSG”) is pleased to announce the X-ray diffraction (XRD) results for various selected samples from its auger drill program conducted at the both the Titan 1 and Titan 2 projects in Tanzania.
  • The aim of the analysis was to identify and quantify the lithium bearing minerals present at the projects that have resulted in the anomalous lithium values as previously reported at the projects.
  • The results confirm Lepidolite, Spodumene and Hectorite as the predominant Lithium bearing mineral species.
  • For both projects, the lithium minerals were recorded in every sample and a general trend of increased abundance of the lithium-bearing minerals was returned as we went deeper from the surface.

SEOUL, South Korea, Jan. 16, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Memristive devices constitute a category of devices capable of retaining their internal resistance, thus offering superior performance compared to conventional devices that use integrated circuits.

Key Points:
  • SEOUL, South Korea, Jan. 16, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Memristive devices constitute a category of devices capable of retaining their internal resistance, thus offering superior performance compared to conventional devices that use integrated circuits.
  • Due to their increasing application in diverse domains like artificial intelligence systems, memristive devices must now overcome several issues related to data retention, endurance, and a large number of conductance states.
  • In a recent study led by Professor Min Kyu Yang from Sahmyook University, Korea, researchers have developed a silver (Ag)-dispersive chalcogenide thin film for use as a resistance-switching material in memristive devices.
  • This study thus emphasizes the capability of chalcogenide materials to enhance the performance of memristive devices.

Pusan National University Researchers Boost Signal Amplification in Perovskite Nanosheets

BUSAN, South Korea, Jan. 4, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Perovskite materials are still attracting a lot of interest in solar cell applications. Now, the nanostructures of perovskite materials are being considered as a new laser medium. Over the years, light amplification in perovskite quantum dots has been reported, but most of the works present inadequate quantitative analysis. To assess the light amplification ability, "gain coefficient" is necessary, whereby the essential characteristic of a laser medium is revealed. An efficient laser medium is one that has a large gain.

Key Points:
  • Over the years, light amplification in perovskite quantum dots has been reported, but most of the works present inadequate quantitative analysis.
  • Now, in a recent study, a team of researchers, led by Professor Kwangseuk Kyhm from Pusan National University in Korea, has managed to enhance signal amplification in perovskite nanosheets of CsPbBr3 with a unique waveguide pattern.
  • Prof. Kyhm explains: "Perovskite nanosheets can be a new laser medium, and this work has demonstrated that light amplification can be achieved based on tiny perovskite nanosheets that are synthesized chemically."
  • Title of original paper: Gain enhancement of perovskite nanosheets by a patterned waveguide: excitation and temperature dependence of gain saturation
