Amadou, the first patient to receive surgery on the Global Mercy®, approaches the ship with his caregiver, Mariatou. - In this first surgery, Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Rachel Buckingham was assisted by Pediatric Surgeon, Andrew Wainwright, also from the Oxford University Trust.
