  • CONT Members will hear Commissioner Ferreira, particularly on the financial management and performance of the Directorates-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM) and Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO), on the basis of the 2021 Annual Reports issued by the Court of Auditors.
  • Most of the errors concern the infringement of internal market or state aid rules, ineligible costs, or ineligible projects.
  • Also, the Court concluded, among other things, that shortcomings remain in the way audit authorities perform and document their work.
