Childhelp Recognizes National Day of Hope with Day of Hope Ride
PHOENIX, March 21, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Wednesday, April 3 marks the 24th annual Childhelp National Day of Hope, a day dedicated to raising awareness and bringing much-needed attention to the child abuse epidemic. Childhelp is the nation's oldest and largest nonprofit dedicated to eliminating child abuse. In 1979, the organization's founders, Sara O'Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, worked with President Jimmy Carter to establish April as Child Abuse Prevention month. And in 2000, Congress unanimously voted to designate the first Wednesday in April as Childhelp National Day of Hope.
