In keeping with the custom of inviting the incoming presidency, AFCO members will hear the presentation of the programme of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council, in as far as AFCO competences are concerned, by Mr. Anže LOGAR, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. A debate will follow.

Preston Hollow Capital Signs Lease for Revitalization Project at Brooks in San Antonio

Preston Hollow Capital , an independent specialty municipal finance company that supports local communities through infrastructure financing, today announced the successful execution of a ground lease with Brooks Development Authority (Brooks) - a 1,308-acre community in San Antonio, Texas owned and managed by the Brooks Development Authority.

  • Brooks was created in 2001 by the United States Congress, the State of Texas and the City of San Antonio to redevelop the former Brooks Air Force Base.
  • Consistent with Preston Hollows mission, this project was conceived with four key, socially-focused objectives in mind, said Preston Hollows Co-head of Originations, Ramiro Albarran.
  • Preston Hollow has invested in Brooks since 2015, funding various real estate and infrastructure projects on the Brooks Campus.

Last week, FRA's Director visited Ljubljana from 15 to 18 March to discuss assistance during the upcoming EU Presidency of Slovenia.

  • Last week, FRA's Director visited Ljubljana from 15 to 18 March to discuss assistance during the upcoming EU Presidency of Slovenia.
  • During this visit, he had a number of high-level meetings in Slovenian Ministries.
  • These included meetings with Lilijana Kozlovi, Minister for Justice and Ale Hojs, Minister of the Interior.
  • He also met with Marko Pogacnik, Chair of the parliaments Committee on EU Affairs, and Bla Pavlin (MP), Chair of the Justice Committee.
