Maine Virtual Students Celebrated at Class of 2023 Commencement

Over 150 students from Maine Virtual Academy ( MEVA ), a full-time online public-school academy serving students in grades 7-12 throughout the state, celebrated their graduation virtually.

LEESBURG, Va., Aug. 10, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Seven career and technical education (CTE) students have been elected as SkillsUSA national officers for the 2022-23 school year. The high school and college/postsecondary students will serve as advocates for SkillsUSA and CTE and will lead two national conferences. During their year of service, they will also facilitate workshops and sessions for students and instructors, train other members, advocate on behalf of SkillsUSA to elected officials and representatives of business and industry and represent the national organization at various events.
