- On June 16, 2023, ODOT notified approximately 3.5 million individuals that the department experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer data entrusted to the company.
- The breach was discovered on June 1, 2023.
- ODOT determined that the information exposed in the data breach includes, name, address, date of birth, driver’s license or state ID card, and the last four digits of Social Security number.
