National Philanthropic Trust Donor-Recommended Grants to Charities Surpass $4.64 Billion in Fiscal Year 2023
National Philanthropic Trust (NPT), the largest national, independent public charity that manages donor-advised funds (DAF) , granted $4.64 billion to qualified charitable organizations in the U.S. and 57 other countries on behalf of its donors in Fiscal Year 2023 (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023).

- NPT donors recommended a historic 107,464 grants to over 36,000 charitable organizations in the latest completed fiscal year.
- Fiscal Year 2018 to Fiscal Year 2023, the total value of NPT grants to charitable organizations increased 362% from $1.01 billion to $4.46 billion, the number of grants increased 162% from 41,025 to 107,464, and the number of charities receiving grants increased 118% from 16,746 to 36,535.
