Eleven diplomats and nine administrative officials from Papua, Indonesia, will visit Japan from January 28th to February 5th, 2020 as part of the Japans Friendship Ties Programs, JENESYS 2019 promoted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA).

  • Eleven diplomats and nine administrative officials from Papua, Indonesia, will visit Japan from January 28th to February 5th, 2020 as part of the Japans Friendship Ties Programs, JENESYS 2019 promoted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA).
  • Under the theme of Exchange for Diplomats and Administrative Officials, the group will attend lectures on the theme, and visit a company which has a factory in Indonesia, and experience exchange program with Japanese students at a university and a high school in Tokyo.
  • They will also travel to Yamagata prefecture and visit Yamagata Prefectural Government, International Affairs Office, as well as experience homestay to communicate with local people through international activities of local area to deepen their understanding of Japan.
  • Through the program, we hope the friendly relationship between Japan and Indonesia will be strengthened, and the participants proactively share the appeals and initiatives of Japan which they experienced in Japan after returning to their home country.
