    On 23 May the Subcommittee on Human Rights, in association with the Delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries, will hold an official side event to the Syria Brussels VII Conference 2023, focusing on the tragedy of the hundreds of thousands people forcibly disappeared in Syria.
  • Members will hear from international organisations and victims' associations about their quest for the creation of an international mechanism dedicated to clarifying the fate and whereabouts of persons believed to be missing in Syria.
