A healthy portfolio growth of 2.2% year over year.

The 2020 .eu Web gala, streamed live from Teatro Verdi in Pisa on 16 December 2020, featured acts from seventeen-time Grammy award-winner Sting, Miyoko Shida, the Women Orchestra, Marta Orlandelli, and the MM Dance Company.
As part of its ongoing commitment to data security, EURid has been certified for the ISO27001 security standard since 2013.
EURid has its headquarters in Diegem (Belgium), and regional offices in Pisa (Italy), Prague (the Czech Republic) and Stockholm (Sweden).

In cooperation with the Youth IGF, EURid has set up a Youth Committee that will advise the registry on Internet governance matters as well as on the promotion of the .eu top-level domain and its variants in other scripts.

In cooperation with the Youth IGF, EURid has set up a Youth Committee that will advise the registry on Internet governance matters as well as on the promotion of the .eu top-level domain and its variants in other scripts.
The Committee is comprised of four qualified and highly skilled representatives of the younger generation who have already gained some knowledge of Internet governance frameworks.
EURids Liaison to the Committee is Megan Richards and the four members are Joo Martins, Lara Demajo, Antoan Shotarov and Alessia Ciccarello.

EURid released its Q2 2020 Progress Report today, sharing its quarterly statistics and developments.

EURid released its Q2 2020 Progress Report today, sharing its quarterly statistics and developments.
Highlights include:
163 277 new domain name registrations recorded;
Total registrations decreased from 3 623 050 at the end of Q1 2020 to 3 606 143 at the end of Q2 2020.
This can be attributed to a higher rate of deletions among UK-based registrations in light of the .eu registrations update relating to Brexit.
Main developments throughout the quarter included:
Kick-off of the 7th annual .eu Web Awards competition;
Partnership with the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.

EURid and Ecommerce Foundation have formalised their partnership by working together to improve the trust of online consumers, retailers and brand owners in .eu online stores.

EURid and Ecommerce Foundation have formalised their partnership by working together to improve the trust of online consumers, retailers and brand owners in .eu online stores.
EURids new partnership with the Ecommerce Foundation will strengthen the fight against online abuse, by adding abusive .eu domain names into the Ecommerce Foundations Scamadviser.com database.
For EURid, this is another important step towards a more transparent and trustworthy online .eu space, ensuring protection against potentially fraudulent domain name usage, states Jordi Iparraguirre, EURids Innovation Manager.
Scamadviser is an online algorithm to identify online stores not delivering goods, shops that sell fake products or offer high risk or otherwise illegal products.

The European Union Intellectual Property Office ( EUIPO ) and EURid , the domain name registry for the .eu, .
top-level domains, are set to intensify collaboration to support trade mark and domain name applicants and owners, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
At present, EU trade mark applicants are advised whether their trade mark is available as a .eu domain name at the end of the online application process at EUIPO.
EURid is also registered by the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), which is an expression of its environmental commitment.
