Identity Theft Resource Center Releases Report on Identity Crime in Black Communities Ahead of Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2023

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 26, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, the Identity Theft Resource Center® (ITRC), a nationally recognized nonprofit organization established to support victims of identity crime, in partnership with the Chicago-based Black Researchers Collective (BRC), released its Identity in Practice Report, which seeks to understand and examine identity crime victimization across Black communities in the United States. The project is supported by LifeLock (a part of Gen™), Synchrony and the Wells Fargo Foundation. This comes ahead of Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2023, of which the ITRC is a supporter of the annual initiative.
