- However, from month to month, the telehealth share of medical claim lines fell 16.5 percent nationally from 6.07 percent in August 2020 to 5.07 percent in September 2020.
- In each region, there were large percent increases in volume of claim lines from September 2019 to September 2020, but relatively small decreases from August 2020 to September 2020.
- Higher telehealth utilization from March to September 2020 in comparison with the same months in 2019 was likely a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
