DOE Selects Rice University and DexMat to Receive $1.5M in Funding to Help Decarbonize America's Industrial Sector
HOUSTON, Feb. 6, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- DexMat, a climate tech moonshot company creating high-performance, low-carbon materials, today announced that its work to increase thermal conductivity in carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers with Rice University has received $1.5 million in U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) funding.
- The DOE Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office funding is earmarked for projects that will reduce industrial greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and move the nation closer to a net-zero economy.
