With the accreditation obtained last month by Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), ACSOM will now begin its inaugural class with two accreditations that are recognized by the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME). With the dual WFME recognition, ACSOM graduates are eligible to receive an Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate, a requirement to pursue residency training in North America.
