AALBORG & FRANKFURT, 26 May 2023: Fraport AG, owner and operator of Frankfurt Airport, and Centrica Energy Trading, a leading European provider of energy management and optimisation services, have today announced the signing of a five-year renewable consumption PPA for wind power developed in Northern Germany by PNE AG.

AALBORG & FRANKFURT, 26 May 2023: Fraport AG, owner and operator of Frankfurt Airport, and Centrica Energy Trading, a leading European provider of energy management and optimisation services, have today announced the signing of a five-year renewable consumption PPA for wind power developed in Northern Germany by PNE AG.
Starting July 2023, Centrica will offtake power production from a recently commissioned onshore wind farm developed by PNE AG, providing Fraport AG with approximately 63 GWh of renewable electricity annually.
Located in Northern Germany, the wind farm has a total capacity of 22MW, generating enough renewable electricity to annually displace approximately 24,300 tonnes [1] of CO2e.
