In 2020, the impact of the global pandemic caused online holiday shopping to increase by nearly 50% year-over-year, jumping from 31% in 2019 to 46%.

One year later, the average consumer again plans to conduct 46% of all holiday shopping online, even with the reopening of storefronts and shopping centers.
