Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer to Host Intensive Cancer Immunotherapy and Tumor Immunology Educational Program

MILWAUKEE, Sept. 22, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) is pleased to announce the third annual Cancer Immunotherapy Winter School, a comprehensive educational program, being held virtually on Feb. 22–24, 2021.

The SITC Cancer Immunotherapy Winter School will feature leading experts in the field who will provide attendees with a deep understanding of the core principles and clinical applications of tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy. The curriculum covers the fundamentals of cancer immunotherapy and features separate tracks allowing participants to tailor their experience by selecting the educational path most relevant to their learning goals.

During the virtual program, Cancer Immunotherapy Winter School participants will learn: core principles of tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy; recent advancements in drug and biomarker technologies and their clinical application; and grant writing to obtain research funding.

In addition to deepening their understanding of integral facets of the field of cancer immunotherapy, attendees will also be able to expand their professional network, developing new relationships with faculty and other thought leaders in this intimate setting through small group virtual breakout sessions.
