Barclays Announces the Redemption of iPath® MSCI India Index ETNs

Barclays Bank PLC (“Barclays”) announced today that it will exercise its issuer call option and redeem, in full, its iPath^® MSCI India Index ETNs due December 18, 2036 (Ticker: INPTF / CUSIP: 06739F291 / ISIN: US06739F2911)(the “ETNs”) on September 25, 2020 (the “Redemption Date”). The ETNs currently trade in the over-the-counter markets under the ticker symbol “INPTF”.

After obtaining the requisite consents in connection with Barclays’ cash tender offer and consent solicitation, Barclays announced on September 2, 2020, that it has amended the ETNs’ indenture and global certificate, to provide Barclays with the right to redeem, in its sole discretion, all, but not less than all, of its outstanding ETNs, on the Redemption Date. Holders of the ETNs on the Redemption Date will receive a cash payment per ETN equal to the Closing Indicative Value of the ETNs (as defined in the prospectus relating to the ETNs) on the valuation date (September 18, 2020).
