NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenstein & Milbauer, LLP, a law firm based in New York City, has filed a lawsuit in Westchester County Supreme Court (Index # 59823/2020), alleging that from 1984 - 1985, when Plaintiff was 11-12 years old, Plaintiff was repeatedly sexually abused while a camper at Camp Shane, an overnight weight loss camp for children in Sullivan County, New York. It is alleged that a drama counselor engaged in unpermitted sexual abuse including oral sex, masturbation, kissing and fondling 10-12 times over the course of two summers. Throughout the period in which the abuse occurred, Defendant was generally negligent, it negligently employed and retained employees and/or agents who sexually abused minor residents and gave them access to children. This lawsuit arises out of Plaintiff's significant damages.
