(“Just Energy” or the “Company”) (TSX:JE; NYSE:JE), a retail energy provider specializing in electricity and natural gas commodities and bringing energy efficient solutions and renewable energy options to customers, today announced that in connection with the proposed recapitalization plan announced on July 8, 2020, it will be seeking, as part of the interim order, a revision of the previously announced July 8, 2020 record date for voting of securityholders, to July 23, 2020. 

The record date for the new equity subscription opportunity described in the July 8, 2020 announcement remains unchanged at July 23, 2020.
