CONMED Corporation Announces Virtual 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

CONMED Corporation (NYSE: CNMD) today announced that the 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held on May 21, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. ET. Shareholders as of the close of business on the record date, April 3, 2020, will be eligible to attend, vote at, and participate in the Annual Meeting.

Due to an Executive Order prohibiting public gatherings in New York State amid public health and safety concerns arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held virtually.

The State of New York typically requires shareholder meetings to accommodate in-person attendance; however, a temporary exception to this rule has been granted. As of the date of this press release, this exception will remain in place through April 19, 2020. The Company currently anticipates that this exception will be extended; however, if legally required by the State to accommodate in-person attendance, the Company will allow a legally permitted number of shareholders to attend the Annual Meeting in person on a first-come, first-served basis. If and when that determination is made, instructions for how to be considered for in-person attendance will be communicated in the future on the Company’s web site and in the Company’s proxy filings.
