LOS ANGELES, March 13, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- As the coronavirus COVID-19 continues to spread, Hooper, Lundy & Bookman has been monitoring the rapidly changing situation and taking steps to keep our clients, colleagues and the broader healthcare community that we serve safe and healthy.
As part of our efforts to protect our workforce and continue to serve our clients, effective Monday, March 16, we are mandating that all attorneys, government relations professionals and staff work remotely until further notice. As the largest health care firm representing providers and suppliers in the country, we are aware of the importance of mitigating the spread of the virus and are committed to helping the health care industry to slow the spread. Containment is a critical component, and this preventative step is intended for that purpose.
This mandatory remote work policy will both protect our employees and help assure that our health care clients continue to have the capacity to serve the public. Our health care provider and supplier clients are on the front lines of this pandemic doing extraordinarily important work, and we are ready to help their efforts 24/7, in any way needed.
During this remote work situation, we continue to be fully operational and have in place robust and tested technological capabilities to support this process as seamlessly as possible.
