Hobsons and New Tech Network (NTN) Announce Partnership to Support Students for Post-secondary Success

ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 25, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Hobsons, the education technology leader behind Naviance, a college, career, and life readiness (CCLR) platform, and New Tech Network (NTN), a leading design partner for comprehensive K – 12 school change, announced today a partnership initiative to provide Naviance to secondary schools as part of a college access network of Texas high schools.

The NTN College Access Network consists of several cohorts of high schools who will work together to identify and address challenges that impact students in pursuing and succeeding in college, with the aim of improving student postsecondary success. Working as an improvement community, the schools are focusing on measurable improvements in well-matched postsecondary enrollment rates for Black, Latino, and low-income students. For any schools in the NTN College Access Network not currently using Naviance, NTN will fund the implementation of Naviance so each school in the cohort has access to the technology. Naviance will provide school teams actionable data to support students in identifying and aligning their interests to post-secondary aspirations. Through Naviance, Hobsons will support NTN's goal of spreading innovative practices across multiple schools to enable students to develop the skills and abilities to thrive in high school and beyond.

The NTN College Access Network in Texas will operate for five years through 2025, eventually reaching 50 schools. Naviance will be made available to support this continuous improvement work throughout the program and support postsecondary success for the students.
