On February 11, 2020, Bed Bath and Beyond made a statement in a press release that announced its preliminary fourth quarter 2019 financial results. In that press release the Company disclosed that they had been suffering from inventory management issues and store traffic declines which would cause the Company to report a 5.4% decline in comparable sales as a result.
