CCL Industries Announces Two Bolt-on Acquisitions for Avery

TORONTO, Jan. 17, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CCL Industries Inc. (TSX:CCL.A) (TSX:CCL.B), a world leader in specialty label, security and packaging solutions for global corporations, government institutions, small businesses and consumers, announced today it has acquired two UK headquartered direct-to-end-user digital printing and software powered businesses in the badging and smart credentials market for its Avery segment.

I.D.&C. World Holdco Ltd (“ID&C”) is a global leader in live event badges and wristbands from operations in Tunbridge Wells, UK and Bradenton, Florida with customers in more than 100 countries. Based in Horsham, UK, IDentilam Ltd designs and develops a range of software solutions for event badging and identification cards along with digital printing services for customers across Europe.  

The combined enterprise value of the two unrelated transactions, net of cash and debt but including acquisition of ID&C related real estate and deferred purchase price consideration, is approximately $40 million. Combined forecast sales for the 12 months ending March 31, 2020, are approximately $25 million with an estimated adjusted EBITDA of $6 million.
