The Beacon Group Welcomes Christopher J. Saucier as Director in Defense Practice

PORTLAND, Maine, July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Beacon Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher J. Saucier as Director joining our Aerospace, Defense & Government practice. Mr. Saucier will work alongside our Defense Vice President, Christine Williams, and Beacon's President and CEO Cliff Farrah.

Chris brings 17 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in business, consulting and military spaces. Chris has more than 10 years of "Big 5"consulting experience where he provided strategy consulting across the Federal public sector. More recently he focused on providing cyber risk assessment services and mitigation strategies to public sector and small business clients throughout the northeast.

Alongside his role at Beacon, Chris continues to serve as an officer in the United States Air Force. Spanning a 17+ year military career, Chris has a rich background in Space and Cyber Operations. He is currently assigned to the Operations Directorate at U.S. Cyber Command, Fort Meade, Maryland. Chris' experience in cyber security and risk assessment will add to Beacon's already robust background of in-industry experience.

Chris holds an MBA from University of Massachusetts, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior from University of North Texas. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is the graduate of numerous Air Force schools including several from the National Security Space Institute (NSSI) and the Advanced Space Operations School (ASOpS). He is a private pilot and an active member in the Southern Maine veteran community.

A native Mainer, Chris resides in Yarmouth and will be based out of Beacon's Portland, Maine Headquarters.
