Change Healthcare Appoints Ryan Miller as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

Today Change Healthcare (Nasdaq: CHNG) announced the appointment of Ryan Miller as senior vice president of Corporate Development. Mr. Miller brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic corporate development and financial transaction management, with roles at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Availity, LLC, and Anthem, Inc., where he most recently served as staff vice president, Corporate Development. As a member of the Change Healthcare senior leadership team, he will report to Change Healthcare Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Fredrik Eliasson.

In his new role, Mr. Miller will lead the evaluation and execution of divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic relationships at Change Healthcare. Working with the company’s Business Development team, he will identify and evaluate prospective M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives to enhance Change Healthcare’s enterprise growth and value proposition for customers.

Before joining Change Healthcare, Mr. Miller was staff vice president, Corporate Development, for Anthem, Inc., where he was responsible for all aspects of M&A, partnership, and corporate venture capital activities. Earlier, he co-founded Anthem’s Provider Connectivity group, and served in senior corporate development roles. As senior vice president, Strategy & Corporate Development for Availity, Mr. Miller led all strategy and M&A activities, including transactions and partnerships with RevPoint Healthcare Technologies, Health-e-Web, Optum, and FORE Support Services. Earlier in his career, he spent nine years in the Goldman, Sachs & Co. Investment Banking group.

Mr. Miller graduated magna cum laude from DePauw University, with a B.A. in Economics, and a minor in Computer Science. He serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the Fight for Air Climb, a signature American Lung Association fundraising event.
