Interjet Airlines Celebrates Four-Day Travel Partner Recognition Event

MEXICO CITY, Oct. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Emphasizing its growth and successful business partnerships, Interjet Airlines celebrated its best producing travel partners from the U.S. and Canada at a special, four-day business and leisure event co-sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism Development of Yucatan (SEFOTUR) and industry leaders from the Yucatan tourism industry. The awards, presented to those travel partners that led the way in terms of sales and quality of service, were presented during a gala dinner and ceremony at the Restaurant Hermana República, Xcanatún.

In addition to business sessions where attendees were able to learn more about the airline's plans for future growth and Yucatan's tourism offering, they enjoyed hosted tours of various attractions in the state including the Historic Center of Mérida; Uxmal, an ancient Maya city considered one of the most important archaeological sites of Maja culture; and the Museo de la Gastronomia Yucateca where attendees were able to tour the history of Yucatan gastronomy as well as sample some of the recipes.
