TAL Education Group Announces Results of Internal Review

BEIJING, June 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TAL Education Group (NYSE: TAL) ("TAL" or the "Company"), a leading K-12 after-school tutoring services provider in China, today announced that the Company has completed its internal review (the "Internal Review") of certain allegations raised in a report issued by Muddy Waters Capital LLC. The Internal Audit team as directed by and under the supervision of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors (the "Audit Committee") uncovered no evidence that supports the allegations mentioned. The Audit Committee has reviewed the result of the investigation and concurred with the conclusion that the allegations were baseless.
