Stateless, Inc., the company reinventing network connectivity, today announced the appointment of TJ Karklins as its new Executive Vice President of Operations and Service Provider Strategy. Karklins will focus on positioning Stateless as a leading enabler of data center colocation and cloud MSP firm success.
Karklins has more than two decades of experience in software, datacenter infrastructure and hosting. Most recently he was Senior Vice President and colocation business leader for Zayo Group, the communications infrastructure provider. Prior to Zayo he was the CEO of Clearview International, an enterprise focused colocation and managed cloud platform which was acquired by Zayo Group, and he served as the global sales leader for Hosting.com.
“TJ is an experienced operations, finance, and sales leader whose depth of knowledge and track record of success make him a great asset to our team as we bring new and exciting interconnectivity solutions to the market,” said Murad Kablan, Stateless CEO. “Increased adoption of hybrid cloud strategies is placing colocation data centers and cloud MSPs at the epicenter of connectivity and is unlocking significant value creation opportunities. TJ’s colocation and cloud leadership expertise will help Stateless accelerate delivery of new interconnectivity solutions that drive value and growth.”
Stateless has developed the industry’s first software defined interconnection (SD-IX) platform, that gives providers the ability to effectively build new networking products connecting portfolio data centers, tenant sites and hyperscale clouds. The platform provides complete visibility, end-to-end automation and API-driven functionalities.
“With its technological thought leadership and advancements, Stateless is poised exceptionally well to accelerate interconnectivity in the data center and cloud infrastructure markets,” said Karklins. “I am thrilled to join this outstanding team and energized to help drive growth and enhanced value for our customers and the industry.”
Karklins appointment follows the announcement of the company’s inaugural product – Luxon - in May of this year. In his new role he will lead key market-facing preparations as well as back-end support and systems initiation.
According to Structure Research the outsourced infrastructure revenue is expected to accelerate significantly through 2022, when it is forecasted to reach $382.63 billion up from $138 billion in 2018. Colocation and cloud service providers are set to experience growing demand as enterprises move away from on-premise data centers.
