Edmonton Global to Launch Story it Will Share with the World
Edmonton Global will work towards creating effective partnerships and collaborations from local to global.
EDMONTON, Alberta, June 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Edmonton Global, a new organization, bringing together 15 member municipalities, celebrates the launch of a new regional narrative intended to raise the profile and promote the Edmonton Metropolitan region among international corporate investors Established to advance economic development collaboration in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region in the Province of Alberta, and Canada; its major priority is to attract global business investment, support the growth and expansion of international trade, and spark job creation.
Edmonton Global will work towards creating effective partnerships and collaborations – from local to global. By bringing together Invest Alberta, Invest in Canada, with municipal economic development teams, and regional partners including Edmonton Economic Development Corporation, Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association, and the Edmonton International Airport, the region believes it can succeed.

- On-the-ground support for companies looking to do business in Canada. This includes assistance with meeting preparation, scheduling company visits, and other organizing efforts.
- Support with Trade Missions.
At the launch event, taking place on June 20th, 2019, from 1 pm to 4 pm, at Nait's Shaw Theatre Malcolm Bruce, President and CEO will introduce Edmonton Global's new logo, branding and most importantly, the narrative that will be used to share the Edmonton Metropolitan Region's story with the world.
