Canfield & Tack Printing and Cohber Press Announce Merger

ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ --Two Rochester, New York based companies, Canfield & Tack Printing and Cohber Press have announced they will join forces as one company, offering clients the latest in commercial printing, collateral management, direct mailing and digital marketing solutions. Employees of Cohber will become employee-owners at Canfield & Tack and all operations will be consolidated into Cohber's facility at 1000 John Street in Henrietta. The combined companies will have more than $24 million in annualized billings. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Ray Brown, president and CEO of Canfield & Tack Printing and Eric Webber, president and CEO of Cohber Press have known each other since high school, but only in the last year did they begin to talk about working together. Canfield & Tack Printing has been running their operations out of two buildings and felt it would be more efficient to find a space where they could combine their locations into one. Ironically, Cohber Press was working within an 84,000 square foot location where the space wasn't being fully utilized. A discussion between the two over space evolved into a conversation about the correlations between their individual companies.

Once the merger is completed by June 1, 2019, Brown will take on the role of President and CEO and Webber will be Director of Business Development and a member of the Board of Directors of Canfield & Tack.
