Coherent, Inc. Announces Changes to the Board of Directors

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Coherent, Inc. (NASDAQ: COHR) today announced the appointment of Ms. Kay Matthews to the Board of Directors effective as of May 9, 2019.  Ms. Matthews currently serves as the Vice Chair, West Region Managing Partner of Ernst & Young, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, and will be retiring June 30, 2019 after 37 years of distinguished service.

Additionally, Coherent today announced that Ms. Susan James has decided to retire from the Board of Directors and not stand for reelection at the end of her current term.
