Zamora to Expand His Role to Lead the Development of the Company's Multi-Line Commercial Underwriting Business
SAN DIEGO, March 14, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ICW Group Insurance Companies promotes Paul Zamora to Chief Underwriting Officer, charged with leading the company's property and casualty multi-line underwriting strategy and business expansion.
Zamora joined ICW Group nearly twenty years ago to oversee its workers' compensation underwriting business. Most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Work Comp Underwriting, Zamora has played a critical role in the growth of ICW Group's workers' compensation line of business, culminating in reaching a milestone of over $1 billion in premium this past year.
"Under Paul's leadership, ICW Group's workers' compensation operation has expanded from writing business in three states when Paul came on board to currently writing in 21 states with plans to expand into New York later this year," said Kevin Prior, ICW Group's President and CEO. Zamora has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance and underwriting business. Prior to joining ICW Group's leadership team, he served as Assistant Vice President at Zenith Insurance Company. In his new role, Zamora will continue leading the workers' compensation underwriting and risk management teams serving thousands of businesses nationwide.
