Western Asset Intermediate Muni Fund Inc. Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Shareholders

Western Asset Intermediate Muni Fund Inc. (the “Fund”), which is traded
on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “SBI”, announced today
the results of the votes cast at the Fund’s annual meeting of
shareholders held April 12, 2019.

Carol L. Colman was elected as a Class II Director of the Fund by
holders of the Fund’s auction rate cumulative preferred stock and
variable rate demand preferred stock (“preferred stock”), voting
together as a single class, to hold office until the annual meeting of
shareholders in the year 2022 or thereafter when a successor is duly
elected and qualified or until she resigns or is otherwise removed.

Robert D. Agdern and Paolo M. Cucchi were elected as Class II Directors
of the Fund by owners of its common stock and its preferred stock,
voting together as a single class, to hold office until the annual
meeting of shareholders in the year 2022 or thereafter when respective
successors are duly elected and qualified or until they resign or are
otherwise removed.

Nisha Kumar was elected as a Class III Director of the Fund by owners of
its common stock and its preferred stock, voting together as a single
class, to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the
year 2020 or thereafter when a successor is duly elected and qualified
or until she resigns or is otherwise removed.
